Recently, İyad el-Baghdadi, an Arab Spring activist with a penchant for the witty noticed something rather odd about our Prime Minister. He observed that Narendra Modi likes getting up close and personal with everyone he meets, whether they like it or not. It's inexplicably weird and funny. Scroll on below, but be warned, the cringe-o-meter is getting a workout in this one.
Narendra Modi has serious personal space issues. Thread. https://t.co/dD06ucJYWS— İyad el-Baghdadi (@iyad_elbaghdadi) June 2, 2017
So he noticed this image of Modi and Putin walking along without a care in the world.
Yet another wonderful interaction with President Putin at St. Petersburg. pic.twitter.com/MWJUBOzhz0— Narendra Modi (@narendramodi) June 1, 2017
And it led him down a path of discovery and, I'm guessing, confusing regret.
It didn't end there though, İyad also noticed something about this chronic hugger that we Indians have been pondering about for a while now. THIS!
Modi also has this weird habit of tugging at children's ears, with a look of eerie satisfaction on his face pic.twitter.com/qf1odH3q04— İyad el-Baghdadi (@iyad_elbaghdadi) June 3, 2017
Why you tuggin' on them ears man?! It's weird!

And even Canadian children aren't safe. Trudeau is just standing there. Say something Justin. Save the children. pic.twitter.com/bvXhQAD2A4— İyad el-Baghdadi (@iyad_elbaghdadi) June 3, 2017
You have to admit, this dude makes some pretty astute observations. Will we ever know why Modi does what he does? I doubt it.
