We all know about Titanic. No, not the movie but the ill-fated luxury liner ship that sunk in 1912 while carrying thousands of passengers.
Well, according to reports, after facing financial constraints in 2012, Blue Star Line's Titanic II will resume its construction and will set sail in 2022. It will carry almost the same number of passengers as its predecessor.
Blue Star Line’s chairman, Clive Palmer said,
“The ship will follow the original journey, carrying passengers from Southampton to New York, but she will also circumnavigate the globe, inspiring and enchanting people while attracting unrivaled attention, intrigue and mystery in every port she visits.”
Reportedly, it will sail from Dubai to Southampton in England and will end its two-week long maiden voyage in New York. From the land of the sheikhs to the land of of the Royals, this definitely piques our interest.
This one will also be equipped with modern navigation and safety technology, along with plenty of lifeboats. PLENTY!
The only difference is that this replica is being constructed in China as compared to its namesake which was built in Northern Ireland.
Reports also mention that this beautiful luxury liner will cost around $500 million. If the movie didn't make me feel like a pleb, this definitely does.
People on Twitter also had some things to add this.

Will we get a sequel to the movie too? I hope not!
