Hours before her wedding, a 19-year-old woman from Muktsar in Punjab was allegedly kidnapped outside a beauty parlour. According to the New Indian Express, she was later found by police near the Ferozepur bus stand. She had been left there by the abductors.

According to SSP Manit Singh Dhesi, 2 of the 6 accused have already been arrested. He added that the girl was apparently involved with one of the kidnappers, but her parents were against the relationship as he was apparently addicted to drugs.
Punjab CM Amarinder Singh tweeted about it as well.
Congratulate @PunjabPoliceInd especially @MuktsarSsp who successfully traced the abducted bride within 6 hrs of being kidnapped. 2 persons have been arrested, raids are on, soon all accused will be behind bars. Will not allow anyone to vitiate the State’s peace and law & order.
