What is already India’s largest ever contingent going to the Olympics, grew larger on Monday as three more athletes
Triple jumper Renjith Maheshwari, sprinter Dharambir Singh (200 m), and Jinson Johnson (800 m) are the latest addition to the list of athletes who have qualified for the Rio 2016 Olympics.
Renjith and Dharambir set new national records in the process too.
The athletes booked their tickets in the ongoing Indian Grand Prix event in Bengaluru.

In addition that the men’s and women’s 4×400 relay teams could confirm their tickets soon as well, after they stormed the field on Sunday to create a new national to virtually seal their Olympic slot.
