Arnab Goswami’s show Newshour on Times Now is often held us as an example of what’s wrong with television debates. The anchor himself is accused of losing his cool and shutting his guests up completely.
In a recent episode of the Newshour, Arnab tells AAP spokesperson Raghav Chadha that he’d been observing that some people have started a new form of debate. He points out that guests from political parties often talk continuously to drown out another panelist.

“This is an inappropriate way of debating. Listen to the other side,” Arnab explained calmly, adding, “If you think you can just speak for five minutes without drawing your breath, it doesn’t make your point any stronger.”
But when the AAP spokesperson tried to reason with the anchor, the anchor lost his cool and shouted at him ,“Again you’re doing that!”
