In what came as an embarrasment for India’s premier military research agency, the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) recently became a butt of all jokes on social media for its failure to log into its Facebook account.
DRDO on Friday posted on its Twitter account about not being able to access its Facebook account.
It also requested Facebook to revert as soon as possible with a solution.

The tweets were deleted around three hours later.
“It was just an operational issue and it is sorted now. There was no hacking,” a DRDO spokesperson told TOI.
Not surprisingly, the issue became a social media joke with people ridiculing the agency’s helplessness.
@DRDO_India @1astknight @facebook wow…you do tweet for such issues…awesome.

@DRDO_India @1astknight In case you get locked out again, shake your laptop a few times. It works everytime I have tried.

@DRDO_India you’re back in action? 😅 So turning off and on your computer helped you get back in Candy Crush Saga? Damn!

@DRDO_India did you recruit new “youth” for deep “research” into logging into FB. Maybe you’ll manage it after 50 years!
