Good news! Apparently, 327 seats are vacant for scientist/engineers in ISRO so, if you think you have what it takes to be part of this prestigious organisation, this is your chance to make it happen. 

There are vacancies in Level 10 of Pay Matrix (Electronics, Mechanical and Computer Science) at constituent ISRO Centres (Group ‘A’ Gazetted posts) and in Autonomous Body which constitutes of Electronic engineers (Group ‘A’ Non-Gazetted posts). 


You can apply for the respective posts online on ISRO’s official website and the last date for submitting your forms is 4th of November 2019. Candidates will be chosen on the basis of a written exam and interview so be well-prepared.

In order to apply, a candidate should have a BE/B.Tech. degree or its equivalent in first class with aggregate minimum 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10.


You can apply for these posts if you are 35 years of age or below as calculated on November 4, 2019. And as per government rule, ex-servicemen and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWBD) are eligible for age relaxation.

You can fill the application form on ISRO’s official website by paying an application fees of ₹100. However, those who want to apply for the post of BE008 in SCL, Chandigarh will have to separately remit application fee of ₹100. 


You can also pay for the application form offline by visiting the nearest SBI Branch. The last date for submitting payment offline is 6th November 2019.

After the candidates meet the eligibility criteria they will be shortlisted for a written test that will be conducted on 12th January, 2020. There will be 80 objective type questions in the written test paper carrying equal marks. 


After the written test, short-listed candidates will have to appear for an interview.
