Google India has now made its Google Play carrier billing option available for Vodafone and Airtel users on Android platform in the country.
The option was previously available only to Idea users.
Through this mode of payment, the customer can pay for the content from their main phone balance. In case of postpaid customers, the charge will be added to monthly phone bill.

In addition to this, users can use credit cards, debit cards, net banking, redeem code for purchasing apps, books, movies, and other digital content on Google Play.
The new feature will have a reach of 182.6 million subscribers across three carriers, says this report in Medianama. The company started accepting payments through Netbanking services in November this year.
