Women facing harassment in public spaces remains a huge obstacle in the way of ensuring safety of women in India, but Indian Railways is firmly moving in the direction of rectifying this issue as much as possible.
While a girl was saved from a man harassing her on a train by tweeting to the railway ministry for help earlier this month, railway authorities once again came to the rescue of a girl in Shramjeevi Express going from Delhi to Patna, reports NDTV .

Indian Railways have been helping people with everything from wheelchairs to food for hungry students in response to tweets from passengers, and this has prompted a lot of people to reach out to the ministry.
The girl tweeted for help from the ministry, when the accused, “started misbehaving and passed objectionable comments,” on discovering that she was alone. The authorities acted swiftly and the accused was arrested by RPF.
