In a tragic accident a few days ago, two jets of the IAF’s Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team crashed down after they collided with each other in Bengaluru. The incident happened just a couple of days before the Aero India Show.
The crash left two pilots injured and unfortunately, the third one lost his life.

People reacted to this gesture positively.
Thank you for putting back the Surya Kirans where they rightly belong – in front of crowds who should know what else the IAF air warriors can do in synchronicity. Personally feel the decision to temporarily “exile” them was wrong.— Sharad Y Savur (@veteran10525) February 23, 2019
