As BJP nears its anticipated win in the Lok Sabha elections of 2019, the ‘chowkidar‘ from the Twitter handle of Narendra Modi is removed.
He tweeted that he’ll take the chowkidar spirit ‘to the next level’, while declaring that he has removed the prefix from his account.
Now, the time has come to take the Chowkidar Spirit to the next level.

Keep this spirit alive at every moment and continue working for India’s progress.
The word ‘Chowkidar’ goes from my Twitter name but it remains an integral part of me. Urging you all to do the same too!
Narendra Modi referred to himself as ‘chowkidar‘ implying that he wouldn’t indulge in corruption, nor would let anyone else be a party to it.
He also urged his supporters to take the ‘MainBhiChowkidar‘ pledge, before the Lok Sabha polls.
Your Chowkidar is standing firm & serving the nation.

But, I am not alone.
Everyone who is fighting corruption, dirt, social evils is a Chowkidar.
Everyone working hard for the progress of India is a Chowkidar.
Today, every Indian is saying-#MainBhiChowkidar
A few days ago, it was reported that NaMo TV has also disappeared from all the platforms, as elections came to an end.
PM Modi has urged his supporters to shed the prefix, as well.
