Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman took on the opposition party with a rather heavy speech discussing economic growth and how it is slowing down. She mentioned that even though there might be a slowdown, there is no recession occurring in the country.
But looked like her speech didn’t really impress the ministers present in the Parliament as some of them were seen dozing off behind her. Union minister for skill development, Mahendra Nath Pandey was seen sleeping as Sitharaman went on with her speech until someone came from behind and woke him up.
