For Matibar Rehman, lord Shiva is like his maternal grandfather. He even calls him nana as he looks after a temple dedicated to the deity.

As per reports from ANI, the temple is said to be 500-year-old and is located in the Rangamahal village of Guwahati and many generations of Matibar’s family have been in charge of taking care of the place that has now become a symbol of communal harmony.

People from both the religions come to the place to offer prayers according to their own customs and traditions. But while the manner of praying is different, everyone carries the same faith in their hearts.
