At least 49 people have been killed and 20 injured after gunmen opened fire on two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand.
According to a report by CNN, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern ‘called the incident a terrorist attack’ in a Friday press conference.
What has happened in Christchurch is an extraordinary act of unprecedented violence. It has no place in New Zealand. Many of those affected will be members of our migrant communities – New Zealand is their home – they are us.
