Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision of blocking the circulation of large currency bills to wipe out corruption has evoked mixed reaction from different quarters with other political parties largely criticising the move for its unpreparedness and ill-planning.
Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday lashed out at the government saying that the initiative has caused immense hardship to people across the country and needs to be promptly withdrawn.
“There is still time, take back this decision before the law and order situation further deteriorates. The government has no roadmap whatsoever,” Kejriwal said.
Kejriwal further asked PM Modi to apologise for inconveniencing the ordinary people who are in a ‘state of panic’ after government’s sudden decision.
Meanwhile, actor and (ridiculously upfront) social media enthusiast Rishi Kapoor was irked at the minister’s rampant criticism of the demonetisation move and took to Twitter to vent his frustration:
Is this guy for real? Does he always talk like this? Suna tha, aaj tajurba ho gaya https://t.co/E9lVdBBWlZ

The AAP leader had earlier accused the Modi government of safeguarding their associates before introducing the currency ban.
While the Delhi CM is yet to respond to Kapoor, here are some responses to his tweet:
@chintskap @TOIIndiaNews yup. And imagine Delhi voted for him twice !
