Tiger Found Resting On A Bed In A Shop In Assam, After It Fled Assam's Flooded Kaziranga

by Sumedha Tripathi

Assam's disastrous floods which have submerged over 90 percent of Kaziranga National Park in water has been a saddening affair. The animals have been gravely affected by these floods too.

The suffering has risen so much that a Bengal Tiger was found 'casually sitting' on a bed near the national highway.

The Wildlife Trust India shared these pictures in a series of Tweets.

They described the Tiger's visit is for 'bread and breakfast.'

They mentioned that the Tiger was spotted near the highway at 8:30 in the morning.

While the situation is quite grave with the floods in Assam, Twitter has some snarky comments about this Tiger 'relaxing'.

While some can take it lightheartedly, this truly shows the gravity and magnitude of the flood that isn't sparing anyone.
