Assam’s disastrous floods which have submerged over 90 percent of Kaziranga National Park in water has been a saddening affair. The animals have been gravely affected by these floods too.
The suffering has risen so much that a Bengal Tiger was found ‘casually sitting’ on a bed near the national highway.

They described the Tiger’s visit is for ‘bread and breakfast.’
A Billion Choices says the bag but this #tiger chooses bed n breakfast to escape #AssamFloods. Our team @wti_org_india @action4ifaw with @kaziranga_ working to ensure safe passage to the #forest #Kaziranga @vivek4wild @AzzedineTDownes + pic.twitter.com/5hfxtK2djo

They mentioned that the Tiger was spotted near the highway at 8:30 in the morning.
The #tiger was spotted nxt to the highway at 8:30 am, moving fm the park, just 200 m away, on its way to Karbi hills abt 500 m across the National highway. Probably disturbed, he jumped across the wall of a scrap garage & took refuge in the dark room. #AssamFloods #Kaziranga +

This is a dhaba across the house where the #tiger is sheltered. It has to traverse this stretch of the road and dhaba to reach the forest you see behind. Highways and settlements block the animals’ #RightOfPassage. @vivek4wild @action4ifaw @AzzedineTDownes @deespeak #AssamFloods pic.twitter.com/G6sMrNBRfY

While the situation is quite grave with the floods in Assam, Twitter has some snarky comments about this Tiger ‘relaxing’.
He seems to had a tough day….let him rest some more.

While some can take it lightheartedly, this truly shows the gravity and magnitude of the flood that isn’t sparing anyone.
