The Indian Air Force carried out strikes on terrorist camps across the Line of Control early today morning. According to the Times of India, The attack was targeted at Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Hizbul Mujahideen terror training camps and was carried out by a dozen Mirage 2000 fighter jets.

The ‘surgical’ attack was carried out in retaliation to the Pulwama attack which claimed the lives of over 40 CRPF jawans. 

Hearing the news, Indians took to Twitter to voice their views.

India had earlier carried out surgical strikes on terror launch pads across the LOC in retaliation to an attack on an army base in Kashmir’s Uri in 2016.
