Pictures of three foreign-origin students of the Kendriya Hindi Sansthan, Agra, allegedly hosting a private beef party at their hostel, went viral across several Whatsapp groups Friday night in Agra.
The image showing what seems like three foreign male students allegedly chopping beef in the institute’s hostel immediately triggered a controversy.
On receiving the information and in the wake of recent incidents over ‘beef politics’, the local administration and police immediately acted. City magistrate along with other officials visited the institution late last night to conduct an inspection.
After conducting the inquiry, Agra city magistrate Rekha Chauhan told ANI that they visited the center on receiving information from unknown sources and on conducting an inspection did not get any evidence showing that beef party had been hosted.
