Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are not playing in the same league right now. Messi is in the US of A leading Argentina’s charge in the Copa America. Ronaldo is in France leading Portugal’s tilt at the European title. They are continents apart.
And seemingly, so are their fortunes.
As Ronaldo is busy grabbing microphones from reporters and throwing them into the lake (no, we are not kidding), Messi is busy breaking records and scoring mind-blowing goals for Argentina.
Just look at this for a free kick:
Well, what do you know. It must be the beard!
And with that performance against the USA, Messi broke yet another record.

Maybe it’s time for Ronaldo to show what he can do. Bring it on!
