This year’s Henley Passport Index revealed which passports are your golden ticket to the world and according to this report, the world’s most powerful passports belong to Japan and Singapore as it allows you to travel and explore 189 countries without a prior visa.
On the other hand, the Indian passport stands at the 86th position with a mobility score of 58.
The mobility score of 58 points out that an Indian passport holder can access 58 countries around the world without a prior visa.
There were 199 passports and 227 tourist destinations that were featured in the index.
UK and US share the 6th spot with Belgium, Canada, Greece, Ireland, and Norway.
Denmark, Italy, and Luxembourg share the third spot while, France shares the fourth position with Spain and Sweden.
UAE, on the other hand, debuted and entered the top 20 spot for the first time with a “record-breaking 41 places over the past decade”.
Iraq and Afghanisthan remain at the bottom of the global mobility spectrum, with its citizens being able to access only 27 and 25 destinations worldwide, respectively without a prior visa.
