Pablo Neruda is a poet who never believed in big words and complicated verses. He was truly a people’s poet that way. He could write about the love he had for his country or the heartbreak that comes with love and the reader would still understand his intention, feel his pain and get lost in his words.

He’s such a real poet that if you’re a person who feels things too easily and you happen to be prone to heartbreak, you should probably not be reading him because his verses will only intensify your pain.
