As Raghuram Rajan formally announced his decision of not going for a second term as the head of the central bank, people took to Twitter to vent their ire. While many have expressed sadness over his decision and have called it a major loss to the country, there are some who have bashed the Modi government for not being able to retain him.
There Twitter reactions will clearly tell you the impact of the ‘superstar’ RBI Governor’s decision to not continue as the central bank’s head:
Right call, Raghuram Rajan. Intellect & global respect is his capital. Why trade it for a chair in a tank filled with petty, mediocre sharks
