Sadhguru Jagdish Vasudev was conferred with India’s second-highest civilian award Padma Vibhushan for his contribution to spirituality at a Civil Investiture Ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Thursday.
He was presented with the award by President Pranab Mukkherjee at the event.
The yogi also runs Isha foundation, a non-profit organisation which addresses aspects of human well-being through the teachings of Yoga. His organisation that is run by volunteers conducts yoga programmes and various social and community development activities across various countries like India, US, Singapore etc.
