Before you start hating me, let me tell you that I don’t hate kids, like hate hate. They just scare me – their demands and their tantrums, the poopy diapers and the wailing, the constant attention they need and the bittersweet experience called parenthood. I feel it’s not for me. But does that mean I have no motherly instincts? I do, when it comes to animals. And I know there are many people who feel the same way.

If you are not ready to be a parent yet but know you’ll make a great pet-parent, you’ll find these comics completely relatable.

The thought of holding a baby scared you. What if you drop it? What if it starts crying? What if it bites you? What if it pees? But you never have so many questions when it comes to a doge.

Babies leak from everywhere and you don’t want to get anywhere near that. But, you love it when pets express their affection for you by licking your face.

‘Do you want to have kids?’ is a difficult question for you to answer. But for pets, your answer is always a ‘YES’ filled with excitement.

You might not hate babies, but if someone does, you’re okay with it. BUT NOBODY SAYS SHIT ABOUT ANIMALS.

You tend to run away from babies but if there’s a fur-ball around, you find yourself running towards it.

You don’t think you’re missing anything in life till you see a person walking their pet.

You unfollow people who keep sharing photos of cute babies, but you follow almost every page that has anything to do with cute animals.

Interacting with a kid is an awkward exercise for you, but when you see an animal, you feel you’re old friends.

Whether you choose kids or pets, or (even better) both, what matters is to love them unconditionally and give them all the care they deserve.
