However, if a report by The Verge is to be believed, even the media coverage of their presidential elections was more fun than a Bollywood entertainer.
Take for example this kickass visual inspired by Game of Thrones.
They even made the presidential candidates run like Rocky Balboa.

What's more, the presidential candidates even got a Pokémon Go game in their honour.
Of course what helped was the fact they they were sporting enough in real life as well.

This isn't the first time the South Korean media has done a light hearted coverage of their elections.
They had done so back in 2016...
And way back in 2012 as well.
While Moon Jae-in might've ultimately come to power, it's the media coverage that was the real winner.
