It’s never good to see a batsman from your team getting dismissed but sometimes, you have to give credit to the opposition, where it’s due.
A good opportunity for that would be this delivery by English bowler Adil Rashid, with which he dismissed KL Rahul, who was playing at 149.
what a ball by Adil Rashid. Unreal pic.twitter.com/V03s2zeA6c

Like, WTF man! Before KL Rahul could even realize, the ball had hit the wicket and honestly, we were just as astounded as he was.
Clearly, I am not the only one who felt that way after seeing the delivery because people have already started terming it ‘the ball of 21st century’.
Nobody interested in Rashid bowled the ‘Ball of The 21st Century’ narrative? That spun miles…. #EngvInd #Rahul

That Rashid delivery was one of the sexiest things I’ve seen in cricket. Wonderful.

Did Adil Rashid just bowl the ball of the 21st century? #ENGvIND pic.twitter.com/sxMatGYdK9

Absolutely top innings from KL Rahul. And it required a monster ball to get him.

The delivery is being compared to Shane Warne’s ‘ball of the century’ or ‘THAT ball’, from the first Test of the 1993 Ashes series.
The final Test between India and England did not end on a good note for us, as India lost the match, and consequently the series.
