After targeting MS Dhoni during the 2017 IPL season, industrialist and brother of Rising Pune Supergiant owner Sanjiv Goenka, Harsh Goenka has turned his attention towards India skipper Virat Kohli.
Expressing his views on the news of a rift between former India coach Anil Kumble and Kohli, Goenka tweeted that one of the qualifications for becoming India coach is to ‘be obedient’ to the board and the captain.

The tweet is seen as a dig at Kohli, who has come under criticism after Kumble decided to step down as India coach due to a fallout between the two stalwarts. The former leg-spinner, who was given an extension for the West Indies after the Champions Trophy, decided to not take up the option and quit from his post due to the differences.
Kumble in his statement said that Kohli had reservations with his style and their partnership had become untenable after he stepped down as coach of Team India.
