Indian captain Virat Kohli is extremely disappointed with the 63-run loss against Sri Lanka in the first Test of the 3-match series.

The new Test captain took responsibility for the loss and stated that the fault is of their batsmen but the team must learn from the defeat.

India got a decisive first innings lead of 192 runs and only needed 175 runs in the fourth innings to claim an impressive win but the team bundled out for just 112.

Kohli admitted that Indian batsmen were ultra-defensive while chasing the target and allowed the Lankan bowlers to build pressure on them. He promised a change in the upcoming Tests.
