Mumbai Indians, Rising Pune Supergiant, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders have booked their place in the 2017 IPL play-offs.
In a potential knock-out clash, Rising Pune Supergiant defeated Kings XI Punjab by nine wickets to finish second in the points table behind Mumbai Indians, which means they will get two shots for a place in the summit clash.
Table-toppers Mumbai Indians will be itching to avenge their double defeat against Pune in the league stage when the two teams face-off in Qualifier 1 of IPL on May 16.
Mumbai Indians outplayed the Kolkata Knight Riders in their last league match to secure the top spot.

The side will be particularly satisfied that their bench strength clicked against KKR, providing them more options to choose from for the key clash.
Supergiant is the only team to have defeated Mumbai Indians twice in the league stage, both home and away and this fact would be playing on the minds of Mumbai players.
Sunrisers and Kolkata will face-off in the Qualifier 2. The Hyderabad team qualified for the play-off after finishing third in the league round with 17 points. The Gautam Gambhir-led Kolkata side which finished fourth in the table with 16 points also qualified for the play-offs.
The teams will fight in the eliminator on Wednesday in Bengaluru.
There is a lot at stake in the MI vs RPS match as the winning team goes straight into the final to be played in Hyderabad on May 21, while the loser gets another chance to reach the final against the winner of the Qualifier 2, to be played on May 19 in Bengaluru.
