‘Sachiin…. Sachhiiiiiinnn!’
The chants that reverberated across cricket stadiums in India (and the world, to be honest) will be heard once again. This time in movie theaters.
The Master Blaster confirmed the release date for the documentary-feature on his cricketing career – ‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams’.
Save the date, folks. It’s May 26th, 2017!

The teaser for the movie was released in April last year and it immediately went viral. With a voice-over by the man himself, the teaser set up the docu-feature perfectly — with Tony Greig’s iconic “Whaddaplaya, what a wonderful player” and of course the “Sachin… Sachin” chants.
The movie, about the journey of Sachin from a ‘wild boy’ to a ‘virtuous hero’ who united a nation, is directed by Emmy nominated director James Erskine, with music composed by none other than Oscar Award winner, AR Rahman.
And in case you were not pumped up enough, here’s the teaser. (Which has over 6 million views on Youtube!)
We. Cannot. Wait!
