As we had reported earlier, the Sri Lankan cricket team is facing a lot of trouble with the Delhi smog.
So much so, that the players had resorted to wearing masks to protect themselves.
Delhi's air quality is a suxx.
But the Twitterati has now come up with an alternate explanation.
That the Sri Lankan cricket team might (notice the emphasis on might) be faking it all.
Because India is leading the series 1-0 (well, at least at the time of writing this article it was).
So this might (again, notice the emphasis on might) just be a tactic for them to gain some leverage.
Well, at least the Twitterati seems to think so.
What a smart decision by Kohli to declare after all the drama by srilankans 😉 surprisingly the bad weather of Delhi affected only the fielders and not affecting the batsman of srilanka 😜😂— Ashish Thakkar (@AshishSThakkar) December 3, 2017
Sri Lanka kept complaining about pollution then Kohli told okay come out we will bowl and India takes wicket in first ball Kohli pumped up...— Broken Cricket (@BrokenCricket) December 3, 2017
He: Hey!She: HiHe: Where are you from? She: Delhi & you?He: 😷She: You Idiot, Delhi is doing something for fog now. Don't tease. He: I mean, I'm from Sri Lanka.#INDvsSL— DhananJay 😎 (@DJayWaleBabu) December 3, 2017

Smog or not, one thing is rarely visible is good cricket from Sri Lanka. #INDvSL— Silly Point 🏏 (@FarziCricketer) December 3, 2017
hahahahaha.... India declare... Virat gesturing "we will bowl now"... this was an obvious call from him given the farce on display. Poor gamesmanship from Sri Lanka. Ridiculous. #IndvSL— Chetan Narula (@chetannarula) December 3, 2017
Laughing shamelessly. Sri Lanka doesn’t deserve to play cricket. pic.twitter.com/QU80sx2Cp2— A. (@Nirmalogy) December 3, 2017
Srilanka team should be renamed as "Sri DramaLanka"Such drama to stop the game and players laughing while #Virat declared shows the spirit donkans have shown in the game#IndvsSL #INDvSL— Indian Cricket (@MSCric_07) December 3, 2017
Precisely. Lankan players laughing and clapping as they walked in. If it is too polluted to field and bowl, it should be too polluted to bat as well. Sri Lanka should forfeit both innings, ideally. #IndvSL https://t.co/saE1kfXoUr— Chetan Narula (@chetannarula) December 3, 2017
Srilanka cricket team is such a cheater team.1. Sehwag was denied century.2. Toss during 2011 WC final.3. Excuse of smog today#INDvSL— S!d (@Vora_siddharth) December 3, 2017
Such logic. Much wow. Very Sherlock.
