Stand-up comedian Raju Srivastava took to twitter on Thursday to confirm that he's currently busy shooting for the upcoming episodes of The Kapil Sharma Show.
He even posted a picture with the TV host.
After Sunil Grover's fallout with Kapil, the reports of Raju Srivastava being roped in as his replacement were doing the rounds as soon as he appeared as a guest in one of the recent episodes along with comedians Sunil Pal and Ahsaan Qureshi.
Reports of Sunil quitting the show came up right after he was allegedly assaulted by Kapil on a flight from Melbourne. However, Sunil is still under contractual obligations with Sony TV.
A Mid Day report has quoted a source saying that due to his contractual commitments with Sony TV he will be shooting an episode for 'Indian Idol'.
Grover is scheduled to perform a live gig as Dr Mashoor Gulati, his character from 'The Kapil Sharma Show' on April 1 at Talkatora Stadium in Delhi.
