Nokia launched three new Android smartphones on Sunday and unveiled a revamped version of its iconic 3310 model more than a decade after it was phased out.

Finnish start-up HMD Global will produce the phone under a licensing agreement with Nokia and unveiled the phone and its latest features.

Launched in 2000, Nokia’s original 3310 sold nearly 12 crore units worldwide before it was discontinued in 2005, and was one of the world’s best-selling mobile phones.

Here’s what you should know about the revamped 3310

  • Unlike the original, the new Nokia 3310 will allow web browsing.
  • It will have the “Snake” game and the distinctive ringtones that it was known for
  • The telephone will allow you to talk for 22 hours, ten times more than the original. It has a removable 1200 mAh
  • The phone will be sold at just 49 Euros which is just Rs 3450
  • The camera however, is rubbish and is just 2 MP camera with LED flash which the company says is for simple snaps

  • The phone will have FM radio and an MP3 player for music
  • The phone has 16 MB storage with a MicroSD card slot with support up to 32 GB
