Rabindra Sarobar Metro Station in Kolkata is quite a popular station that is used by many commuters on a daily basis but it is also believed to be haunted. It is said that after the last metro passes at 10:30 PM, people spot a ghost-like figure on the tracks. No one really knows the identity of the ghost for sure. 

This railway station is located in a remote village in Purulia and it was closed for 42 years because of the eerie experiences that people reported. Many passengers complained about seeing a lady-ghost dancing and walking around, at the station. It was believed that the woman was run over by a train. The station was re-opened by the government in 2009 after they rubbished all the claims of the station being haunted. 

This is technically a metro station in Delhi that is believed to be haunted by the spirit of a lady clad in white who runs behind the cars that are passing through the area. Some passersby have also complained about hearing knocks on their door and being slap by an unknown entity. Many accidents have also been reported due to this unusual activity.

It is believed that the spirits of the freedom fighters, who lost their lives in Naini Jail, which is near the railway station, reside here. The spirits are believed to be harmless but the locals say that their presence can be felt.

This station is believed to be haunted by the spirit of a lady who is seen waiting for the train to arrive at the station. Many people have also complained about feeling uneasy and uncomfortable. Some also claim that they have felt the presence of something unknown.

According to reports, it is believed that the spirit of a former Computer Reservation System officer named Subhash, who died in 2004, still haunts this station. People say that Subhash loved his job and even after his death his spirit lurks around in the Reservation Centre office where he used to work earlier.

Passengers have often complained about experiencing paranormal activities at this station. It is said that this station is haunted by the spirit of a woman who died here years ago in an accident. Many also claim to have seen her roaming around in the station, clad in white saree.

According to reports, this railway station is haunted by the spirits of all those who lost their lives while crossing the railway tracks and other such accidents. Passengers and locals have often complained about hearing screams, wails and cries during night time.

Sources suggest, a CRPF official named Hari Singh was allegedly attacked by RPF personnel and a couple of TTEs on duty on a New Delhi-bound Kerala Express in 2013. Hari was badly wounded so he got down at the Chittoor railway station in the early hours to seek help but he succumbed to his injuries 10 days later in the hospital. Now, it is believed that his spirit haunts this railway station ‘in search of justice.’

British railway engineer, Colonel Barog was given the responsibility of building a tunnel through a mountain but due to certain miscalculations he failed at the task. He committed suicide by shooting at himself, after he was ridiculed and humiliated in front of his workers. Now, it is said that his spirit still wanders around the station and the tunnel. Many passersby have also said that they have felt his presence.
