A woman in Kolkata has been arrested after she allegedly kissed a policeman on duty when she was pulled over for getting into an accident at Bypass-Chingrighata Mor.
The police said the woman was driving under the influence of alcohol. She was returning from a party and a man and another woman were with her in the car at the time of the accident, reports The Times of India.
The woman at first hit a divider on the bypass road. When a taxi driver attempted to rescue her, she allegedly started beating him.
When a constable from the Bidhannagar (South) Police Station tried to get her out of the car, the woman allegedly pulled him and started kissing him. At last, a local woman was asked for assistance and the woman and her two friends were led to the police station.
The trio were booked for drunk and rash driving. They are residents of College Street and are also members of the area's Durga Puja committee.
