Amelia Earhart was the first female aviator who flew across the Atlantic Ocean solo. She set many records and wrote best-selling books about her flying experience. From setting many records to writing bestselling books, she never stopped dreaming because her dreams were far greater than her fears and she proved it like a boss. She was a woman of true grit and determination and she played an important role in forming the The Ninety-Nines, an organisation for female pilots to encourage more women to enter into the aviation field which was a male-dominated profession at that time. She believed that men and women are equal in all spheres of life and she was not afraid to voice her opinions about equal rights for women in the society. She was an all-rounder who was a leading feminist icon and a fearless woman who did what she loved.

During an attempt to make a circumnavigational flight of the globe on 2nd July, 1937, Earhart and navigator Fred Noonan disappeared over the central Pacific Ocean near Howland Island that continues to remain a mystery. On that note, here are some inspiring quotes by her that are perfect life lessons that we didn’t know we needed.
