If I knew that a profession like ‘Chocolate taster’ existed when I was a kid, my life would have been sorted a long time ago. But it’s never too late to start what you love doing. And now would be a perfect time because there’s a golden opportunity knocking right at your doorstep!
Mondelēz, the maker of Cadbury and Oreo, is looking for a professional chocolate taster who can provide honest feedback on their products.
And guess what you need on your resume?
“A passion for confectionery and taste buds for detection and honesty when it comes to giving an opinion.”
Mondelēz, the American multinational company, wants to hire a suitable person who can taste their chocolates and cocoa beverage products and give them an honest opinion.
It’s a part time job with an official title of ‘Chocolate and Cocoa Beverage Taster’. The person will be required to work for 7.5 hours per week between Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The job is for the company’s office at Whiteknights campus in Reading, UK, and the lucky person will work with a panel of 11 people to discuss and share opinions and reach a consensus on taste!
The tasting work, which will take place in sensory booths in the Consumer Science discussion rooms, is meant to play a key role in helping the company launch new products around the world.
The most interesting part is that it’s an entry-level job that needs no prior experience! You can read the job description and apply for it on Mondelez website here!
Go, put ’em taste buds to some good use!
