We’re finally starting to acknowledge the role privilege plays in social structures. Where maybe a decade or so ago, we were hardly questioning what makes a person successful or the part that privilege plays in people’s success, today we’re starting to think about equity in a more elevated sense. For instance, this video that has been uploaded by Humans of Bombay founder Karishma Mehta, that’s getting backlash for how Mehta has defended her privileged upbringing.
