The Byomkesh Bakshy movie is out today and one look at its poster and you know he is not your typical tuxedo wearing, martini drinking, Porsche driving filmy sleuth. Instead, he belongs to an old-world Calcutta, jumps over Howra bridge in his comfy Dhoti , oils his hair enough to survive a thunderstorm and most importantly has a name which sounds like anything but that of a detective!
