Ayodhya Temples Put Heaters To Prevent Gods From Catching Cold & Twitter Just Couldn’t Handle It

Ira Shukla

Winter is here, friends, and just like all of us, Gods also need protection from cold and flu.

Sounds illogical? Not to the temple authorities in Ayodhya.

While wrapping the idols with shawls is a common practice across India, the priests in these temples went a step ahead and installed heaters for deities lest they catch cold.

At the Janki Ghat Bada Sthan temple, ‘jalabhishek’  is also done using warm water so that the Gods don’t fall ill.

According to an Indian Express report, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad has requested to install heaters for Ram Lalla in Ayodhya due to the cold wave and Twitter could not make sense of what’s happening.

Saving the saviors.
