Looks Like Delhi Traffic Police Will Take Action Against Dhinchak Pooja For ‘Dilon Ka Shooter’

Love her or hate her but you just cannot ignore Dhinchak Pooja.

She’s given us Indians an introduction to the genre of cringe-pop with songs like Selfie Maine Le Li Aaj, Swag Wali Topi and Daaru. And if you’ve been following her career, you probably already know about her new song Dilon Ka Shooter.

The video shows her driving across the streets of Delhi on her scooter, which she claims shoots hearts with its aesthetic. While that might be debatable, what she actually got into soup for was not wearing a helmet while driving her scooty in the video.

A concerned citizen complained to the Delhi Traffic Police about a woman driving through the area of Surajmal Vihar singing loud songs:

Delhi Traffic Police gave a reply to Mohit Singh asking for further details:

After learning of all the details, Delhi Traffic Police assured Mohit of a strict action:

This is certainly a funny fiasco, however, it cannot be ignored that Dhinchak Pooja should have definitely taken more care.

With her rising fame, she needs to make sure to not promote unsafe behaviour.

At the same time, Dilon Ka Shooter has already gotten quite a few reviews on Twitter:

Be careful of all that life changing advice you casually throw around:

Yes, that is exactly the purpose of cring-pop:

You don’t have an option when your hearing abilities are at risk, do you?

Nonetheless, we’re proud of Delhi Traffic Police for taking note of the complaint and hopefully, Dhinchak Pooja will be more careful next time!

And for those who still haven’t heard her new track, here you go: (#SorryNotSorry)
