If you’re a woman who has been born and brought up in a middle-class family in India, you know what I’m talking about. No matter how much hue and cry, you’re never going to get that unibrow threaded until your mother allows it. “Maine jab shaadi kari thi tab karvayi thi eyebrows” is what you will get to hear. Frustrating, right?  

Well, if your parents think you’re not ready, nothing is going to work on them. And while these things might not be a biggie anywhere else in the world, they can be pretty big milestones here. 

So, here are some of the milestones that we women FINALLY achieved once we reached ‘that’ age.
