We think we know a great deal about how the world functions and often we take that for granted.
Just like words, thee and thou are used to address someone formally. That is, however, absolutely not the case.
It is instead equivalent to addressing someone as ‘tu‘ (informally) in Hindi.
Much to our amazement, we stumbled upon a Reddit thread with more such out-of-the-world yet obvious facts.
