UP Minister Said ‘Lord Hanuman Was A Sportsperson’ & Twitter Had Some Knock-Out Reactions

Ira Shukla

Former cricketer and current politician Chetan Chauhan recently said that lord Hanuman was a sportsperson and that his caste should not be discussed.

His remarks came in response to the UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath starting a debate over lord Hanuman’s ‘caste’ with his controversial remark, to which Chauhan responded by saying:

I believe that he (Lord Hanuman) was a sportsman who use to wrestle with his enemies. All the sportsmen of our country worship him as they require power and energy like him to emerge victorious. The players do not worship him because of his caste.

Now, this was too much for the Twitterati to handle, who hit wicket with every response.

Guess lord Hanuman will have descend from heavens to settle this debate.
