Someone From Madurai Paid ₹5 For Using A Toilet Via Cheque, All Thanks To Demonetisation

Demonetisaton seems to have changed everything. The way we shop, the way we eat, the way we commute, the way we pee. Yep, you read that last one right. Looks like some people have taken the mission to make India cashless way too seriously.

Just like this one guy, from Madurai (oh, that rhymed!) who paid a public toilet ₹5 via cheque after he’d done his business. The image of the cheque was shared by Brm Muralidharan on Facebook on December 2 and has since then gone viral.

The person probably couldn’t find change and hence decided to write a cheque for the princely sum to ‘Public Toilet Madurai’.

Just one question though. What if the cheque bounces?

Pretty sure this is what Modi ji must’ve said after learning about this incident.
