What a deadly combination it used to be! There was a time when these two would set the scoreboard on fire with their irresistible strokeplay.
But now that they’ve retired and put their bats away, it looks like they’ve taken their partnership from the cricket field to Twittersphere.
It all started with Sachin praising Team India for the fantastic victory over New Zealand in the second Test.
Which led to Sehwag – who has been doing commentary – fishing for some praise.
And Sachin – being the nice guy that he is – duly obliged.
But Sehwag being Sehwag, he couldn’t resist trolling his Godji…
The duo scored a million runs together and we’ve always wanted to have a glimpse at their camaraderie. Now, at long last, thanks to Twitter, it looks like we’re getting a bit of the same and everyone is loving it.
It remains to be seen how Godji responds. If and when he does, we’ll keep you posted.
