Sourav Ganguly’s Instagram Is The Ultimate Guide In How To Desi Dad

Ira Shukla

Iconic batsman, legendary captain and now the BCCI chief – Sourav Ganguly is one of the most prominent figures the sport of cricket has produced in the country.

But, let’s not forget he is also a desi papa – and papas using social media are a different breed altogether. They are savage, they keep saying the same things and well, put selfies from the oddest angles possible.

That’s basically how I will define Sourav Ganguly’s Instagram account.

He gets involved in endearing banter with his daughter because how dare she be ‘disobedient’.

And keeps posting multiple pictures with the same caption.

Which reminds me of my parents’ recent trip to the hills. My dad posted at least 6 pictures captioned ‘lovely view from the mountains’ at different points of time during the day.

Sometimes, he posts the same picture with different captions.

Must have forgotten or didn’t care, we will never know (except papa, he does).

Ganguly gives you health tips on some days.

Which is typical of all dads when they want to brag about their ‘healthy lifestyle’ so they can make you feel guilty of falling sick later.

‘I have a headache’ – that is because you don’t go on walks.

‘I have cold’ – that is because you don’t go on walks.

‘My feet hurt’ – that is because you don’t go on walks.

Ummm…

And on other occasions, he posts a selfie that’s exactly like the one he posted before.

All of us with a papa on social media know about this, hence no need for an explanation here.

So underneath all that aggression, Ganguly is cute AF. Keep posting stuff, Dada, we all love you for it.
