Fulfilling the duties of a cop isn’t easy. One needs to find ways to convince people to obey law and order.

Indian cops are quite good at that. Some of them have come up with innovative methods to convey their message to the public, making it more fun.

1. This Chandigarh cop sang a rendition of Bolo Ta Ra Ra to control traffic in the city.

Singer Daler Mehndi himself shared a video of this traffic cop.

2. This Delhi traffic cop turned ‘Apna time aayega‘ into quirky rap to persuade people to abide by traffic rules.

Sandeep Shahi, a 37-year-old constable at Delhi traffic police, not only sings the rap, but also persuades drivers to follow traffic rules by making them feel guilty and showing them the mirror.

3. This traffic cop in Bhubaneshwar dances in the middle of the road to control traffic in the city.

Pratap Chandra Khandwal, a 33-year-old traffic cop deploys his unique dance tricks and moves to prevent the commuters from breaking traffic laws.

4. This Hyderabad cop composes songs and uploads them on social media to create awareness about social evils and crimes.

Anjapalli Nagamallu, Additional Inspector of Police (traffic) LB Nagar has earned the reputation of a singing cop. As a cop, he wants to instill discipline among motorists in an innovative way.

Speaking to The Hindu, he once said:

While on road when confronted with a situation, I’d rather raise my voice to sing than express anger.

5. Two Meghalaya cops sang a song at an awareness programme to send across a message against the use of drugs.

Just some cops doing their usual job in an unusual way.
