First-time MP Nusrat Jahan made quite an entrance into Indian politics when she and fellow MP Mimi Chakraborty received backlash for a selfie outside the parliament.
This time the TMC MP is back in the news for her gorgeous wedding in Turkey, to businessman Nikhil Jain.
The wedding went well in an intimate ceremony in Bodrum, Turkey with family and friends. However, Nusrat’s wedding clashed with her Lok Sabha oath-taking ceremony which she had to miss.
And her decision to choose wedding over national responsibilty didn’t go down well with netizens.
